The two level home sleeps 7 and has two living areas to play and hang out. The Hammock House has a chef’s kitchen that is fully stocked and ready for any level of meal. With a huge wrap around porch, the outdoors can be enjoyed throughout the year. Snuggle in a hammock with your favorite book or take a nap and enjoy the cool breeze coming off the holler. Play with the kids at the treehouse and take trip down our mountain slide.

So much to think about. So little time. That’s where we come in.
When we were designing The Holler House, we didn’t want to build just another mountain cabin. We wanted it to be a unique space where you could spend a weekend and never want to leave. As professional photographers, we also wanted to have a bright and clean space with lots of natural light.
Intimate spaces
The Holler House has enough space for you and your close family and friends. We can sleep 4 and have just enough room to have a few friends and family over for a tiny wedding. Must book The Hammock House to host a wedding more than four people total.
What to Do?
The Holler House is on the border of Murphy, North Carolina and Blue Ridge, Georgia. Both cities offer many options for entertainment and leisure. The house itself is outfitted with everything you’d need for a nice weekend away including beds for 4, a full bath, a vintage clawfoot tub, small kitchenette, and an entertainment center. High speed internet is available for those who need access. Valley River Casino is just up the road and tons of fun for adults and kids alike. They have an incredible bowling alley and arcade room.
Stay in
Many of our guests never leave the tiny house. We consider that our greatest compliment. We get people all the time who just need a quiet place to get away. Spend a weekend relaxing in the tub, watching Netflix, or working on your next great novel.If you need a place to spend a few days recharging, we’ve got you covered.
The property also has some great outdoor options such as a fire pit, grill, and picnic table for outdoor dining. We also have a treehouse for the kids (or the kid in you).
get out
We are nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are all sorts of options available for the outdoor lover beyond our property. Some of our local favorite options are Lake Nottely, the Ocoee River, and the Appalachian Trail system. There are loads of trails for hikers and mountain bikers just a short drive from the house. Our region is a kayaking and rafting mecca. For boaters, fishers, and lake lovers in general, Lake Notley and Lake Blue Ridge is our go to. We’re always happy to provide suggestions for whatever you’re wanting to try out. Our guidebook is wonderful to help you plan.
